The Cove webcam is back up! Thanks for the heads up from viewers of The Leland Report
and to Chris Smith for troubleshooting the issue.

The moment the camera came back online there were already two users in the control queue.

Rick and I are back from the islands and on either side of Florida for the moment.  While we were in St. Maarten, we checked out sunset beach which is located about 50 feet from the approach end of Princess Julianna Airport’s runway.  There’s a cool little bar right there where they have the arrivals for flights posted on a surfboard/chalkboard and speakers tuned to air traffic control.  When you stand in line with an approaching 757 you’d swear it would hit you square between the eyes.  Instead, the jets roar overhead leaving enough wake turbulence to ruffle your hair a little bit.  Take-off is a different story, turning the beach into a sandblaster.  The danger signs posted all over the side of the fence are no joke.
