winter bonfire on Van’s Beach
February 13th, 2009 by Sean

It was just warm enough, just calm enough, and just clear enough to light a fire on the beach. Today was one of those days where its so clear that the Manitous appear to be just off shore. As the sun set, the clouds cleared and the stars came out. For some reason I can always spot the little dipper before the big one. Orion is in a strange spot in the sky this time of year. Other than that all was quiet and there doesn’t appear to be one cottage light illuminated along the entire beach.
